Penza, 18 March 2013. PenzaNews. Over 2,5 thousand subscribers of “Interactive TV” by Rostelekom have used “Video rental” service from the beginning of 2013.

“The customers have ordered over 4 thousand feature films, animated films, and documentaries from the leading content producers, with whom we have entered into licensing agreements,” the head of the press service of JSC “Rostelekom” Alexey Makarov said to news agency “PenzaNews.”

He noted that this directory is constantly updated.

He reminded that at present, almost 15 thousand homes of the Penza region are listed among the subscribers of “Interactive TV” by Rostelekom, and speaking about Russia as a whole, the number is close to 1,5 million.

“Interactive TV” as opposed to cable and satellite television by other operators, provides services of time management and broadcast recording of most television channels. In addition, one of the components of “Interactive TV” package is the entertainment media portal Zabava.ru, which provides a large catalog of legal content — over 60 thousand electronic books, 8 thousand games, over 1 million music tracks, as well as new video tracks and software,” Alexey Makarov summed up.
