Over 80 parks to be equipped in Penza

Penza, 19 March 2013. PenzaNews. Over 80 parks will be equipped in Penza in the nearest future. This was announced by the chief architect Dmitry Polishko during a weekly operational meeting on Tuesday, March 19.

“Thus, the work on improvement will be done in 21 parks in Pervomaysky district, 41 — in Leninsky district, and 11 gardens in Oktyabrsky and Zheleznodorozhny districts each. Major cleaning of dry leaves and old trees is scheduled in these areas, as well as planting flower arrangements, setting benches and repairing the pavement,” he said.

The head of administration of Penza Roman Chernov expressed a wish to allocate a site suitable for planting white acacia.

“It may be a new or existing park. But there should grow acacia only,” the press service quoted the mayor of Penza.
