According to the schedule published on the website of Penza airport, from May 23 to September 10, there will be two flights per week in both directions.
Flight “CRJ-200” Penza — St. Petersburg will run on Wednesdays and Fridays at 00.55, arrival time — 3.00.
Return flights are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays at 22.00, arrival time — 23.55.
The director of Penza Airport Yuri Oskolkov noted earlier in an interview with news agency PenzaNews that the flights to St. Petersburg have always been popular.
“Over the past few months the flights on this route have been 95% full. And during summer, we had to schedule the third flight due to the influx of tourists willing to visit the northern capital,” he said in October 2012, commenting on the decision of the management of Ak Bars Aero airlines to cancel the flights due to the lack of prospects.
