Penza, 1 April 2013. PenzaNews. Penza community foundation “Civil Union” published a report about the results of their activity, charitable programs and financial performance in 2012. According to the document, the balance amounted to 494,874 rubles at the beginning of 2012. During 12 months of 2012, the foundation received 301,025 rubles from the local sources, including 83,900 rubles from commercial companies and 217,125 rubles as private donations.

At the same time, the amount of donations from Russian and international organizations amounted to 1,266,007 rubles, including financing of special programs by Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) supported with 117,238 rubles, by the Stefan Batory Foundation — 19,564 rubles, the partnership of community foundations of Russia — 1,073,518 rubles, city charity fund “Togliatti Foundation” — 10,307 rubles, and the amount of other income made 45,380 rubles.
In addition, 137,307 rubles are marked under “Extraordinary income”, and the income from business activities amounted to 77,730 rubles.
Total income of 2012 amounted to 1,782,069 rubles.
The main expenses part of the report reads the following: the costs of authorized activity, including grants, scholarships, charity — 229,141 rubles, and organizational work on seminars, workshops, round tables — 120,799 rubles, the implementation of targeted programs, including activity of the press service of the partnership of local community foundations — 1,065,418 rubles, and the development of youth bank — 163,174 rubles, which also includes salaried and taxes, other administrative costs amounted to 39,680 rubles.
444,615 rubles were directed to the development of the foundation, 14,500 rubles of which spent on upgrading the website, 130,115 rubles — for organizational development, staff professional development, and 300 thousand rubles were allocated for the deposit for long-term financing of charitable programs.
The total expenditure of “Civil Union” foundation amounted to 2,062,827 rubles.
According to the data presented, the balance at the end of 2012 was 214,116 rubles. Deposit for long-term funding of charitable programs was 1,603,727 rubles.
“Civil Union” foundation is committed to openness, transparency and accountability. In the Penza region, the foundation has initiated the signing of the basic principles of non-profit organizations of the Russian Federation — “NGO’s coordinates.” Each year, “Civil Union” publishes annual reports on main activities, as well as reports on individual charitable programs,” the Executive Director of the foundation Oleg Sharipkov commented to news agency “PenzaNews.”
