Penza, 3 April 2013. PenzaNews. Over 700 thousand entries were filed by the citizens in the hospitals of the Penza region by means of electronic registration system from the beginning of 2013. “About 14 thousand of them were made with the help of a special regional portal,” the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Penza region reported to news agency “PenzaNews.” The ministry reminded that at present there are three ways to make a doctor appointment — through the federal portal of public services, by phone or in person at the hospital reception.

Electronic registration system was launched in the Penza region in 2012.

Among the objectives of the pilot project is the introduction of modern technologies in the hospital registration system, as well as providing reports on the visits of patients to the health authorities.

All medical institutions providing health care based on compulsory health insurance system were equipped with specialized software for electronic registration control.
