Penza, 3 April 2013. PenzaNews. Over 100 students actively engaged in research, project activities, and creative work, participate in the auction of ideas “InnoTeens,” the opening ceremony of which was held in the regional library named after M. Lermontov in Penza on Wednesday, April 3.

In his opening speech to the participants, the chairman of the government of the Penza region Yuri Krivov reminded that the auction of ideas is a part of the festival of innovation and high technology. He also added that the youth centers of innovative creative work are of great importance to the region — their official opening took place on Wednesday, April 3.

“Today a new stage in the development of the centers begins. I would like to thank the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, which supported the idea of their creation, as well as colleagues from “Rosnano” school league. We expect that our alliance will be long-lasting for the sake of the youth of the Penza region and the whole country,” the chairman concluded.

“InnoTeens” auction of ideas will be held in Penza on April 3–5.

During the event, the participants – students of 8–10 grades – will gather in research laboratories in groups of 36–37 people, each of which will be divided into three teams of 12–13 people. They are to carry out tasks placed by the customer-company with tutor’s support.

The results of team work – presentations of their business idea projects – are to be defended before the experts.
