Alexei Agafilov: Penza streets to be cleaned up within two weeks

Penza, 5 April 2013. PenzaNews. Penza streets will be cleaned up within two weeks. This was announced by the head of the city housing and communal services Alexei Agafilov during the inspection of improvement work in Leninsky and Oktyabrsky districts of Penza on Friday, April 5.

“However, there are places where a lot more time and energy need to be spent, in particular, fixing the facades,” he stressed.
Alexei Agafilov added that in some adjacent areas trees should be planted.
“The district administration has already begun forming applications for planting,” the head of the city housing and communal services said.
The Deputy Head of the city administration Yevgeny Ryzhov suggested that the municipal authorities cannot carry out all improvement work in the city on their own.
“The companies located along the driveway, should do the cleaning in the first place. Unfortunately, some Penza residents turn out to be quite irresponsible when it comes to maintaining the city clean — they throw garbage near the houses and in the parks. I hope that people will support the city government and help improving the city,” the press service of the city administration quoted Yevgeny Ryzhov.
