Penza, 8 April 2013. PenzaNews. Apartments in 17 districts of the Penza region were fully transferred to individual heating. This was announced by the acting head of the regional administration for housing and communal services Yuri Ilyin during an operational meeting on Monday, April 8.

“The process of transfer of apartment buildings to individual apartment heating began in 2002 in order to eliminate unprofitable boiler stations. The total number of such boiler stations in the region amounts to 45,” he explained.

According to Yuri Ilyin, over 22 thousand apartments acquired individual apartment heating during the past 10 years.

“The work is currently carried out in Penza, Kuznetsk, Kamenka, Nikolsk, Serdobsk, Nizhny Lomov and other areas. Moreover, we have determined the houses for further transfer,” the acting head of the department commented.
