Penza, 16 April 2013. PenzaNews. About 500 programmers, system architects, business analysts, quality managers and heads of IT-companies will take part in V inter-regional conference of software developers “Secon,” which opened in Penza on Tuesday, on April, 16th.

During the opening ceremony, the governor of the Penza region Vasily Botchkarev noted importance of information technology in the modern society.

“I suggest Penza association of software developers to create a park of high technologies similar to those in Europe and the CIS, and to develop the project which would propose preferential terms for development of hi-tech business,” the press-service quoted the head of region.

The first “Secon” conference (“Software Engineering Conference”) was held in Penza in 2007. In 2013 the program includes sections such as “Technology,” “Management,” “IT startups” and “Bonus.” The conference is organized by the Association of software developers of Penza.
