Penza, 30 April 2013. PenzaNews. New federal “Russian Public Television” (OTR) will come on air in all regions of Russia, including the Penza region, on Sunday, May 19.

According to the press service of the regional government, OTR will be available free of charge via networks of all operators of cable, satellite and IP-TV, but the viewers will have to use automatic channel search mode on their TV.

The government of the Penza region also explained that terrestrial broadcasting of Russian Public Television is planned only in digital format DVB-T2.

“This means that from May 19, it will come on air in all locations where such networks are already operating in a test mode. If the broadcast signal is received by the ethereal collective antenna, the public television can be viewed at the official website of OTR, which will also provide video library,” the press service explained.
