“The decision has not been approved. I am talking to you in the rank of Director General, what more do you want me to say? There has been no order as to whether I am staying or not. Nothing to comment. I am Director General,” Oleg Sinenkov said.
Responding to the question about the planned change of management in the media holding, the agency interlocutor noted that he had not seen “any order of appointment of another head.”
Oleg Sinenkov also refused to comment on the possible appointment of Alexander Orgin as media manager of broadcasting company “Express,” who was presented to the staff as the future head on Tuesday, April 30.
“There is nothing to explain... I have been Director General and continue holding the position,” he said.
In turn, Alexander Orgin confirmed that he has not taken the responsibilities of the main manager yet.
“No, I did not start working, and I am not authorized to give any comment. If you need to get the official point of view, turn to channel “Express,” they will tell you,” the agency interlocutor said.
As the informed source told news agency PenzaNews on condition of anonymity, Alexander Orgin and Oleg Sinenkov met in the office during the holidays in May, and presumably, discussed the issues related to the transfer of CEO responsibilities.
“I think that Alexander Orgin refused from the position himself when he found out what he will have to deal with, and for what salary. That’s when all the illusions were gone. As for Oleg Sinenkov, I believe that he will most likely leave the position. The person wanted is the one who will satisfy the authority, and the negotiations should better not fall on holidays,” he added.
