Penza, 28 May 2013. PenzaNews. Over 200 Penza police officers — the employees of extra-departmental security service, traffic police, and Special Police Force — will take part in a donor action on the eve of the International Children’s Day on May 28–29.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region, 60 more employees have already donated blood last Monday, May 27.

“Many of them were donors for the first time. They said they were happy to help people who need to have complex surgeries done, including those after serious car accidents,” the department explained.

The press service also noted that Penza police officers donate blood every three months.
