Penza regional hospitals lack 124 pediatricians

Penza, 31 May 2013. PenzaNews. State budget health care institutions of the Penza region require 124 pediatricians. This was reported by the Acting Minister of Health in the region Elena Falina during the ninth session of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region on Friday, May 31.

“Only 51% of vacancies of physicians are filled, and 74% — of nursing staff,” she informed.

According to Elena Falina, special measures, such as money rewards, for attracting medical personnel from other regions were introduced in the Penza region.

“However, we have not registered influx of pediatricians yet,” she pointed out.
