According to the head of the region, schools must not only arrange basketball and volleyball games, but also hold competitions to stimulate students’ interest.
“As for the cultural events, we need to organize children’s concerts so that they would show what they have learned during the school year in music schools and clubs, performing for parents and neighborhood residents. It is also necessary to take children to museums, art galleries, various production plants, for instance, let us show them where the food products come from,” Vasily Bochkarev said during an operational meeting in the government of the Penza region on Monday, June 3.
In addition, the governor instructed the ministers to intensify efforts in combating alcoholism, especially among the parent community.
“Let us promote creation of fathers’ organizations to protect children from “difficult” families. We have a lot of good people. In addition, every “difficult” family must be supervised by the representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, social security service, and employment center — it is not enough treating alcoholism, we should encourage such parents to work,” the head of the region stressed.
