Penza, 7 June 2013. PenzaNews. The administration of Penza annulled its decision on the allocation of land to individuals near hotel “Lastochka.” This was announced by the head of the governor’s staff department and the government of the region Viktor Rubtsov on Friday, June 7.

According to him, the decision was annulled by the mayor’s office “because of the active position of the public.”

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, in May, the greenbelt near hotel “Lastochka” was fenced, after which several foundations for further concrete block construction were put.

In addition, the fact of cutting down coniferous trees in the area received wide publicity.

According to the administration of Penza, the plots of land were allocated free of charge to the people with disabilities, however, according to officially unconfirmed reports by some media, some of the land owners turned out to be businessmen.
