Penza, 10 June 2013. PenzaNews. The First Deputy Chairman – Minister of Investment Development and Business of the region Vladimir Volkov presented the Penza region to the possible foreign partners during the X annual business forum of the Russian-British Chamber of Commerce, which completed in London. The presentation made by the Minister was highly appraised by the specialists of the trade representative office of the Russian Federation in the UK and generated interest of potential investors.

“I saw that British business is interest in Russia. At the same time, they are afraid to work with us because of the lack of personal contacts. In my opinion, this is the main limiting factor in our relations,” Vladimir Volkov commented on the results of the forum.

He also said that he met with one of the partners of the consulting company “Ernst & Young” on the organization of a series of meetings in Europe devoted to presentation of the investment potential of the Penza region.

“We hope to get back to this topic in the nearest future here in Russia,” the press office quoted the Minister.
