Forum of young Russian-speaking journalists from CIS starts in Penza

Penza, 10 June 2013. PenzaNews. Forum of young Russian journalists from CIS organized by the Youth Union of the Penza region supported by the foundation “Russian World” and the regional government will start its work in the hotel resort “Chistye Prudy” on Monday, June 10.

“We are expecting all participants to check in Today before noon — they are the representatives of the youth media from Armenia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia and Kazakhstan. The event will also be attended by Russian young journalists from Ufa, Moscow, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Novosibirsk, Kostroma and, of course, Penza,” the chairman of the Youth Union of the Penza region Pavel Maslov told news agency “PenzaNews.”

According to him, during the second half of the day the forum participants will take a tour around Penza, discuss the methodology and team building, and later in the evening they will meet in an informal setting at a “welcome party.”

“The forum includes a range of activities aimed at preparation of joint projects, promotion of youth media participation in creating an information space in the CIS countries, as well as identification of the most important areas for cooperation and establishment of personal and business contacts,” the agency interlocutor pointed out.

He added that the official opening of the forum will be held in the conference hall in hotel resort “Chistye Prudy” at 10.00 on the coming Tuesday, June 11.

“The ceremony will be hosted by the Acting vice governor of the Penza region Valery Savin and the chairman of the National Council of Youth and Children Unions of Russia Grigory Petushkov,” Pavel Maslov said.
