Penza, 12 June 2013. PenzaNews. The grand opening of the renewed regional gallery of honor and glory was held in Penza on Wednesday, June 12. Addressing the participants of the event, the chairman of the government of the Penza region Yuri Krivov noted that honoring the best organizations and specialists of the region on Russia Day has become a tradition.

“You have achieved great results in various fields — industry, agriculture, health care, public and community service,” he said.

Yuri Krivov reminded that according to the results of 2012, the Penza region is among the regions of the Volga Federal District, which have demonstrated high indices of growth of industrial production, housing construction, development of social sphere.

“Major contributions to the achievement of such results were made by the organizations and companies represented in today’s renewed gallery of honor and glory. I want to thank all of you and your colleagues for conscientious attitude to work, and to wish this year to be as productive as the previous one,” the chairman of the government of the Penza region concluded.

For the development and implementation of social and economic policies of the Penza region, great contribution to the culture, art of the region, education, health care and civil rights, the gallery honored “Penzatyazhpromarmatura,” JSC “Radiozavod,” LLC “Mayak-Tekhnocell,” JSC “Penzastroy,” the regional library named after M. Lermontov, the school of Olympic reserve, as well as other organizations and businesses.

Among the employees of 2012 are welders, turners, drivers, engineers, masons, doctors, athletes, heads of various departments and companies.
