Popularity of service “Video on Demand” by Rostelecom tripled during past year in Penza region

Penza, 13 June 2013. PenzaNews. According to the press service of JSC “Rostelecom,” popularity of “Video on Demand” of Interactive TV by Rostelecom has tripled in the Penza region in comparison with 2012.
“Since the beginning of the year, the service was used by 5 million people. And the total number of films ordered by Penza subscribers of Interactive TV in May 2012 grew to over 20 thousand,” the press service noted.
The company reminded that service “Video on Demand” is the most popular among other Interactive TV services since it provides access to a video library of licensed content that has over one thousand feature films, documentaries, cartoons, and TV series.
“Service directory is constantly updated. The content is divided by genres for the user’s convenience. Before ordering the service, the subscriber can find a brief description of the plot and watch the trailer. New blockbusters are already available for the users — such as “Legend 17” in HD-quality, “Die Hard: A good day to die” with Bruce Willis, “What women do not talk about” with Olesya Sudzilovskaya, and also a great selection of children’s TV series and cartoons, which is especially important during school summer break,” the press service pointed out.
