The Penza region took part in the parade of Matryoshka dolls held in Sokolniki, Moscow, within the social campaign “Buckle up!” organized by the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Russian Union of Insurers and non-profit organization “Road Safety Russia.”

“The project “Buckle up!” is the first social campaign on road safety in Russia, which is this big. It was attended by all Russian regions. This demonstrates that the entire country is united when it comes to road safety,” the group of propaganda of Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs commented to news agency “PenzaNews.”

The department explained that the art exposition of two-meter Matryoshka dolls presented the scale and the idea of the national action.

“All the dolls brought by the regions are unique, but they all have one thing in common — the seat belt. Matryoshka doll from the Penza region was designed by Mikhail Melnikov,” the department noted.
