According to the Federal State Statistics Service, the average monthly salary of civil (municipal) officials of the executive authorities of the Penza region amounted to 35,688 rubles in the first quarter of 2013, which is 18,7% higher than in the corresponding period last year.

According to the data, the average salary of civil (municipal) employees of local government with executive and administrative functions grew by 26% and amounted to 25,141 rubles.

Civil (municipal) employees of the regional divisions of the federal bodies of executive power received 19,548 rubles, or 7,4% more than a year ago.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, during this period in the economy on the whole the average monthly salary amounted to 19,027 rubles in the Penza region, which is 11,8% more than the last year.

Despite the fact that the level of salary of civil and municipal employees is above average in the region, the experts establish staff shortage.

Thus, as of March, staffing of executive bodies of the Penza region amounted to 1,290 people, which is 95,1%.

3,572 people are engaged in the territorial divisions of the federal bodies of executive power, which does not cover 9,4% of staff demand.

The local government with executive and administrative functions employ 3,495 people, which is only 98,1%.
