“We have already built a facility called “Olimpiysky” in another district. And now I would want to return the park its old name as this is the history of our city and the entire country,” Vasily Bochkarev said during the inspection visit to the park on Monday, June 17, where a rollerdrome is being constructed as a part of preparation for the 350th anniversary of Penza.
According to the head of the region, the former name of the park is more familiar and recognizable to the citizens.
“When the rollerdrome is put in operation, the park will become a place of entertainment for people, especially for children and teenagers,” Vasily Bochkarev said.
The governor also noted that the most valuable thing in the life of every resident of the Penza region should be a happy family, which involves spending as much quality time with their children as possible, and what can be a better place for this other than a recreation park.
