Penza, 20 June 2013. PenzaNews. Penza teachers of multidisciplinary college visited Finland, where they learned the main characteristics of vocational education of the country.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Penza region, the teachers visited the training center Omnia.

“The members of the delegation from Penza had a tour around the center, during which they found themselves in a different school atmosphere, tried the modern methods of teaching and assessment, and received explanations on the basic concept of educational activities,” the department explained.

The Ministry of Education of the region noted that special attention was given to the process of learning through mobile gadgets and business approach.

“They have been working in this direction since the mid-1990s and achieved great results. Penza delegation had an opportunity to learn about it personally by talking with entrepreneurs who rent offices in Omnia center and take an active part in organization of professional training and practice for students,” the press service commented.
