Penza, 28 June 2013. PenzaNews. General practitioner’s surgery began its work on the first floor of a multidisciplinary college in Antonova St in Penza on Friday, June 28.

One of its first visitors was the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev, who noted that such facilities are in demand.

“Last year, we opened an office of a general practitioner in Novokazanskaya St, where the residents of the district of State Bearing Plant No. 24 (GPZ-24) were present and asked to create the same kind of an institution in their district. It was decided to find the area, invest the money in reconstruction, equipment and hiring staff. Now they have two doctors and several nurses,” the head of the region said.

He added that members of the new health care institutions should inform the residents about their surgery.
