Penza, 28 June 2013. PenzaNews. The acting rector of Penza State University Alexander Gulyakov, the member of the Legislative Assembly, suggested the Minister of Education of the region Svetlana Kopeshkina to develop incentives for students of Physics and Mathematics departments of PSU.

“No one is willing to engage in these areas. We shall soon run out of mathematicians,” Alexander Gulyakov said during the tenth regular session of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region on Friday, June 28.

“We shall try to come up with ideas. But the regional authorities also have to think, perhaps, of raising scholarships,” the acting rector of PSU added.
