Penza, 28 June 2013. PenzaNews. Over 150 experts from different regions of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan are taking part in the all-Russian scientific-practical conference dedicated to congenital heart diseases of children, which is held in Penza.

As the deputy chief doctor of the federal center for cardiovascular surgery Evgeny Rosseykin explained, the forum is designed to teach cardiologists to diagnose the most complex types of heart diseases of children correctly.

“A large number of children are born with heart diseases, and many of them are not provided with proper help in time because we are not able to identify the problem on the spot since pediatric cardiologists are not fully informed. That is why this conference is to show the ways on how to act in case a child is diagnosed with heart disease,” he said.

According to the chief federal inspector of the Penza region, the program of the conference does not include only scientific reports, but also practical and visual displays.

“An online broadcast from an operating room is organized in a conference hall,” the press service of the chief federal inspector commented.
