Penza, 1 July 2013. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev instructed the head of administration of Penza Roman Chernov to have a ride on a bus along Suvorova St — from Dzerzhinskogo St to Uritskogo St.
“Take a bus along Suvorova Street together with your office. Report back to me about the situation with the road surface on the phone right out of the bus,” Vasily Bochkarev said during an operational meeting on Monday, July 1.
In addition, the head of the region criticized the actions of the Minister of Construction, Transport and Roads of the Penza region Alexander Grishaev regarding the road works during the weekend.
“Why does the number of workers on the road reduces during the weekend when the number of vehicles on the roads goes down? Why do you activate road works only on Monday, when the driveways are filled with cars,” the head of the region inquired indignantly.
Vasily Bochkarev added that the road works during the weekend should be the main condition for the conclusion of a state contract.
