Over 150 graduates of Russian medical schools to work in Penza region

Penza, 9 July 2013. PenzaNews. Over 150 graduates of medical schools of Samara, Saratov, Saransk, Volgograd, and Astrakhan will move to the Penza region to work in hospitals of the region after training in internship.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Penza region, on Tuesday, July 9, the department, educational institutions, and future specialists concluded a corresponding tripartite agreement.

“Under the terms of the agreement, future specialists will be trained in Penza Medical Institute of professional development, and Medical Universities in Saratov, Samara, Moscow and St. Petersburg. In the end of the one-year and two-year internship, residency, they will move to the Penza region,” the press service explained.

The ministry added that currently the region misses 645 doctors.
