Penza, 23 July 2013. PenzaNews. Penza zoo will receive a zebra from Hodonin, the Czech Republic. This was stated by the press service of the institution on Tuesday, July 23.

“The administration of the zoo held a meeting with the organizers of the festival “Shurum-Burum,” during which they signed a letter of intent. As it was reported earlier, the funds collected during the festival will be spent on purchase and transportation of the zebra,” the press service noted.

The zoo administration added that the money would be remitted to the bank account of the institution within a week.

In addition, a gift of Penza zoo to the city on its anniversary will be llama of unusual black-and-white coloration.
