The chief architect of the Penza region Alexander Kuraev said that the number of parking spaces near the residential houses should be equal to the number of apartments. He expressed this opinion during the discussion of land use development in the city administration on Tuesday, July 23.

The discussion involved the first deputy head of the city administration Lyudmila Kipurova, Penza City Duma deputy Sergei Lisovol, as well as leading architects of the city.

As the department of architecture, urban planning and technical inventory of the city told news agency “PenzaNews,” when the citizens sign a co-investment agreement on construction, they have the right to claim the land on which the house and all the elements of improvement, including a parking lot, are situated.

The chief architect of the Penza region Alexander Kuraev noted that it does not matter what kind of a parking lot it is — an underground or a ground-level one, but the by-house parking should be equipped, and in many regions there already exist the rules under which the number of parking spaces coincide with the number of apartments.
