“According to him, in early 2010, he placed 25 million carp fry in the leased pond, located near village Nikolaevka, Penza area, but he had no opportunity to catch the grown fish due to the fact that in February 2010 the lease term of a reservoir dam at the water reservoir near LLC “Sursky krai” ended, and the company’s management prohibited the farmer fishing for his carp having decided to drain the pond,” the coordinator of the Penza regional branch of LDPR Mikhail Usov told news agency “PenzaNews.”
He noted that the farmer received no compensation for the money spent on the purchase of fish fry.
“According to preliminary estimates made by Sergei Kulichkov, he lost over one million rubles,” the agency interlocutor stressed.
Mikhail Usov added that he took the case of the farmer under his personal control.
