Penza, 2 August 2013. PenzaNews. The head of the city housing and communal services Alexei Agafilov, who is a defendant in a criminal case under Part 4, Art. 159 of the Criminal Code “Fraud,” will be kept under house arrest for two months. The corresponding decision was made by Leninsky district court of Penza.

According to the information available to news agency “PenzaNews,” the criminal case against the head of the city housing and communal services is managed by the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Penza region, but the Service do not comment on the situation yet.

However, the press service of the official informed that Alexei Agafilov is currently at a meeting and is to be back later.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, in March 2012 the prosecutor’s office of the Penza region reported to the city administration headed by Roman Chernov that the head of the city housing and communal services Alexei Agafilov provided false information about his income, property and property obligations.
