Penza, 5 August 2013. PenzaNews. Megafon company is to hold a flash-mob with mascots of Olympics 2014 – Leopard, Polar Bear and Hare – during the final competition of VI Summer Student Spartakiada of Russia on August 4–7.

Megafon is an official mobile operator of Russian Student Spartakiada, providing the organizational committee with communications and the Internet. About 8 thousand young athletes aged 12 to 17, as well as their coaches, referees and other sports forum participants were able to use the mobile 4G Internet. Olympic mascots will test this service like the young athletes,” the press service of Penza branch of OJSC Megafon told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The company noted that the residents of Penza would have a chance to meet the guests from Sochi in several points of the city.

“Another gift for the upcoming 350th anniversary of Penza will be a unique festival of innovations and sports “Big Games of Megafon.” Thanks to high technologies, winter sports will be available in summer. Such games are already held in different parts of the country with great success. I am sure that Penza residents will also get great pleasure imagining themselves as participants of the Winter Olympics,” he said.

Megafon is the general partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi in 2014, as well as XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
