Penza, 8 August 2013. PenzaNews. 42 large families with children, that is 5.7% of the number of those who received free land in the Penza region as part of social support program, got the permission to build private houses.

“According to the municipalities, 1 thousand 482 large families have applied for free land for individual housing construction since 2010, when the sub-program “Social support for young families in the housing sector” started. 1 thousand 252 families were put on record, 735 of them received the land, and 471 — registered their ownership,” the press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Demography of the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry added that only four families of 42 started the construction: two – in Penza, and two – in Shemysheyka and Bashmakovo.

“67 families that received the land are potential participants of housing programs, 197 families are planning to build houses at their own expense, and 9 families are going to use the maternity (family) capital,” the ministry explained.
