60 of 87 houses to be demolished in Penza resettled

Penza, 13 August 2013. PenzaNews. Residents of 60 houses, which need to be demolished in Penza, moved out; the total number of condemned dwelling is 87. This was stated by the deputy head of the city housing services and utilities management Vyacheslav Sintsov during the weekly operational meeting at City Hall on Tuesday, August 13.
In turn, the head of Penza administration Roman Chernov said that the pace of work in this direction should be increased.
“Moreover, there should be strict control over the debris removal. Very often, organizations involved in the demolition, arrange illegal dumps,” he said.
The mayor instructed his subordinates to check whether these companies have contracts for debris removal to solid domestic waste landfill.
In addition, Roman Chernov drew attention to the need for a more thorough cleaning of the city streets and said that in anticipation of Penza anniversary, attention should be focused primarily on the entry groups.
“Everything should be brought into perfect order,” the press service quotes the head of the city administration.
