Penza region is among leaders in terms of preparation for autumn-winter period

Penza, 20 August 2013. PenzaNews. The Penza region is among those regions of the Russian Federation which have reached high levels of utility service readiness for the autumn-winter period.

According to the results of monitoring carried out by the specialists of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, 1,59 billion square meters of housing in the country, which is 64,03% of the plan, are actually ready for the autumn-winter period.
The best results have been achieved in Altai, Kalmykia, the Orel, Smolensk, Tambov, Orenburg, Penza, Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions.
Also the region showed good results in preparation of water networks for winter. In addition, the Penza region met the requirements in storage of liquid fuel for the winter period.
Moreover, the region entered the top ten regions of the Russian Federation with the best funding of pre-winter works, and the top eight regions, where emergency supply of material and technical resources is fully developed, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Regional Development reported.
