Zarechny, 22 August 2013. PenzaNews. Preparations for the implementation of a pilot project on improvement of illumination of pedestrian crossings almost completed in Zarechny, the Penza region.

“We plan to install additional lamp-post constructions which will hang over a pedestrian crossing due to an upside-down-L-shape. In addition, it is expected that the lamps used for illumination will be LED, which are powerful and more efficient,” a specialist of the City Department of Public Relations Maria Rodionova.

She added that based on the results of the pilot project the city management will decide on equipping the rest of the pedestrian crossings of Zarechny with additional illumination.
