88% of educational institutions approve by Ministry of Emergency Situations in Penza region

Penza, 22 August 2013. PenzaNews. 88% of educational institutions of the Penza region are ready for the school year in terms of fire safety. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region Major General of Internal Service Sergei Kozlov during a meeting with reporters on Thursday, August 22.

“School in village Krasnopolye, the Penza region, is of particular concern. The roof is leaking, and the second building is disconnected from the electricity supply. However, the regional ministries of education and health have assured that by September 1, the institution will be fully prepared,” he said.
Sergei Kozlov also informed the journalists that on the first day of classes, preventive measures-training in all educational institutions are planned to be held.
“We want to instruct students and teachers once again on the topic of fire safety. It is expected that on September 1, training on evacuation of people in case of emergency will be held,” the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Penza region commented.
