Penza, 28 August 2013. PenzaNews. Fire-tactical exercises were held in the building of Penza branch of the Finance University on Wednesday, August 28.

According to the head of the fire protection station of the city Colonel Alexei Ryzhov, the event was organized as a part of major revision of educational establishments in terms of fire safety for the new school year.

“Almost 35 people of fire station personnel, as well as nearly 10 units of special equipment participated in the exercises. In addition, the experts of the center of disaster medicine, emergency center, the city water supply enterprise and the police were involved in this training,” the agency interlocutor commented.

He explained that according to the exercise legend, fire started in the library on the first floor.

“We pretended and trained our actions in the situation when the administration decided to try and put the fire out on their own, but due to high temperature and concentration of smoke everyone was forced to leave the building,” Alexei Ryzhov added.

It is planned that the results of the exercises will be announced in the nearest future.
