Penza, 29 August 2013. PenzaNews. Seven non-governmental organizations of Penza are among the winners of the open competition for grants according to the decree of the president of Russia.

“Among the grantees is Association of Consumers of the Penza region, which received 534,981 rubles for the project “Problems of Consumer Justice Today.” The regional office of all-Russian public organization of disabled people also received high evaluation for their project “Learning Russian Language,” and was provided 317,673 rubles. Grants in the amount of one million will be allocated to the charity fund “Pokrov” for their project “Home for Mom,” and the regional public organization of assistance in solving social problems of the family and individuals for the project “Way Home,” the executive director of the foundation “Civil Union” Oleg Sharipkov told news agency “PenzaNews.”

He added that among the winners are also such organizations as the Youth Association of the Penza region, which will be able to implement the project “City of Health” with the help of a grant in the amount of 352,100 rubles.

“Financial support will be provided to the regional department of Russian women's movement. Their project of development of competence of apartment building councils will receive 500 thousand rubles. In addition, another grant in the amount of 523,810 rubles will be allocated to the charity fund “Pokrov” for the project “My Choice – Life and Health,” the agency interlocutor commented.
