Penza, 30 August 2013. PenzaNews. The design of the official website of the government of the Penza region will be updated soon. This was announced by the head of the governor’s staff department and the government of the region Viktor Rubtsov on Friday, August 30.
However, he did not specify exactly which innovations will be introduced, as well as the amount of money allocated for this purpose from the regional budget.
As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, the current version of the website, which provides the opportunity to create new websites of minor authorities down to village councils in the same system, was launched in late May 2011. 780 thousand rubles were allocated for this purpose, but immediately after it had been put in operation, the website caused ambiguous assessment of IT-specialists.
However, according to the head of the department of information of the Penza region Alexander Antonov, such a solution was chosen due to the limited budget — the departments were spared from having to pay for hosting and technical support of the website, spending extra money for its maintenance.
Meanwhile, along with new websites of some departments made in the same style as that of the government of the Penza region, the older versions can still be found on the Internet.
In particular, the website of the regional sports committee located at is updated more frequently than the new official version at .
Also there are still two versions of the website of the department of culture and archive of the region, which are updated simultaneously: “the old one” — mk-penza.ru, and the official one at .
