Penza, 2 September 2013. PenzaNews. Blogger against Trash campaign was held in Victory Park located in Penza microdistrict, Arbekovo.

According to the volunteers, they collected dozens of bags of trash in the wooded area selected for cleaning, some trash suggested that the area was often visited by the drug addicts.

As the constant participant of the campaign Leonid Svetlichny noted, the residents of Arbekovo should be more civilized and clean up their own trash.

“And I would like to stress out the fact that the number of unauthorized dumps has not reduced in the city,” the blogger added.

As an example, he pointed out a dump, of which he informed the representatives of the City Hall in April this year, right when a citywide cleaning was held in Penza.

“That dump [...] continues to grow and multiply, and Roman [Chernov, the head of administration of Penza] said that within a month the dump should be removed. Three months have passed, and the garbage is still there,” the participant of the ecological campaign commented.
