Penza, 3 September 2013. PenzaNews. The organizing committee of multimedia contest “Russia 10,” a participant of which is Penza sculpture park “Legenda,” made a decision to suspend the voting.

“Due to the fact that within 24 hours — from 12.00 on Thursday, August 29 till 12.00 on Friday, August 30 — the project “Russia 10” received a little less than 50 million votes, or nearly one-third of the number of all the votes received within 6 months of the competition, as well as in connection with the public attitude to the outcome of the second round, the committee made a decision to hold a technical audit of the data to identify possible technical errors, computer markups on semi-final stage, as well as to avoid possible influence of these factors on the final stage,” an official statement posted on the website of the project “Russia 10” reads.

According to the statement, the technical audit will verify the results of the Internet and SMS-voting.

“The technical audit will take seven calendar days at most. The voting is suspended until the end of this procedure. All the votes received during the final round from 12.00 on Sunday, September 1, will be saved,” the statement notes.
