Over 100 surgeons participated in the discussion of transplantation at the round table organized in the framework of the scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the federal Center for Cardiovascular Surgery in Penza, which took place in hotel resort “Chistye Prudy” in Mokshansky area on Wednesday, September 11.

The participants listened to reports on how the waiting list for heart transplantation is formed, as well as medical and mechanical support during this period.

In addition, the surgeons had a chance to get acquainted with the experience of Krasnodar center of chest surgery and heart transplantation, and touched upon the topic of anesthesia.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, scientific and practical conference “Practical Surgery” began its work on Tuesday, September 10. Among the participants are heart surgeons from Brazil, France, and also from a number of Russian cities, including St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Perm, Novosibirsk and Penza.
