Penza, 17 September 2013. PenzaNews. Lermontova Street in Penza should be exemplary by the day of the 200th anniversary of the famous Russian poet M. Lermontov, which will be celebrated in 2014. This opinion was expressed by the head of the city administration Roman Chernov during the operational meeting at the City Hall.

“We must make Lermontova Street look perfect. The curbs need to be fixed, sidewalks and sewage wells equipped properly, some landscaping done. The entire amount of work should be completed by July 2014,” he said.

According to the press service of the City Hall, it is also planned to refresh all the monuments to Mikhail Lermontov and other sights dedicated to him.
