Penza, 20 September 2013. PenzaNews. Volga branch of “Russian Authors' Society” (RAO) appealed to the Court of Arbitration of the Penza region with a claim to LLC “Restaurant “Dlya Vas” [For You] for compensation in the amount of 375 thousand rubles for violation of exclusive rights to the music performed.

According to the decision on acceptance of the claim, a copy of which is available to news agency “PenzaNews,” a preliminary hearing on the case is scheduled for October 7.

Volga branch of RAO is to provide evidence that musical compositions have actually been performed by the plaintiff, as well as the disc of a public performance of the disputed compositions.

In turn, the defendant must provide a license agreement between them and the plaintiff or the copyright holder for using the disputed compositions.
