Tomb-chapel of nobility Kiselev’s opened in Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery of Penza

Penza, 26 September 2013. PenzaNews. The solemn opening of the tomb-chapel of the nobility of Maria and Alexander Kiselev took place on the territory of Spaso-Preobrazhensky [Holy Transfiguration] Monastery in Penza on Thursday, September 26. “Today we consecrate the chapel, where the remains of the great benefactors, people who did a lot in the spiritual sphere and charity — hospitals and other charitable institutions, where people received medical and spiritual help,” bishop of Penza and Nizhnelomovsk Veniamin said.

After the lity, the deputy chairman of the regional government Valery Savin gave the governor’s letter of gratitude to the bishop, noting his personal contribution to the preservation of cultural and historical heritage.
During the solemn ceremony the words of gratitude were also addressed to the patron Sergei Bogomolov, and then a stamp dedicated to philanthropist Maria Kiseleva was canceled.
