Penza, 30 September 2013. PenzaNews. American economist Jeffrey Sommers will give a public lecture for students of Education, Psychology and Social Science faculty of the Penza State University on October 3–4.

As the press office of the university told news agency “PenzaNews,” Jeffrey Sommers will visit Penza on invitation of the international initiative “Postglobalization” representative.

“The center-piece of the professor’s talk will be issues connected with the new phase of the global economic crisis and the US hegemony crisis,” the PGU representative said.

Jeffrey Sommers is associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and visiting faculty at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. He got two Fulbright grants and is a government consultant in many countries.
