The local resident told news agency PenzaNews that there is no information when water starts running.

‘The outage is thought to be connected with pipe installation as part of reconstruction of technological passage over the river Sura on the dam supporting piers of TPP-1, conducted by the Penza capital reconstruction management. According to the workers, the reconstruction will be the end of October, which means that only cold water will run in houses till that time. Meanwhile, children continue being cold in kindergartens and schools, and the city administration reports, that such establishments start being heated above all else,” the agency interlocutor said.

The branch kindergarten No. 101 administration explained, they were informed about hot water outage only for the period from 9 September to 30 September. The situation bothers the kindergarten administration, because it threatens the children health and obstruct the staff work.

According to the housing and communal services administration, the information that water and heat will be supplied to socially significant facilities only in the end of October does not correspond to the facts.

Moreover, the services representative confirmed the fact that the hot water outage is connected with reconstruction works, conducted by the Penza capital reconstruction management.

According to the Penza administration, the reconstruction of the technological passage over the river Sura on the dam supporting piers of TPP-1 should be completed by 31 October 2013.
