Penza, 7 October 2013. PenzaNews. Grabovo residents in Bessonovsky area of the Penza region informed the local office of the political party LDPR about non-compliance with technological requirements while asphalting the roads on 2nd Polevaya and 2nd Lesnaya streeets and expressed resentment toward such expenditure.

According to them, the road machinery appeared on the streets while it was pouring heavily. The workers, without putting sand-and-shingle layer, covered the road with dry cement mixture, and then started laying asphalt right on top of it.

The coordinator of Penza regional branch of the political party LDPR Igor Isaev arrived at the place, took photos and videoed the work.

“Workers laying the asphalt told me that Saratov organization manages the work. The public procurement site reports that LLC “Magistral” will get 28 million rubles for the roads reconditioning,” he said.

Igor Isaev added that LDPR will definitely send requests to controlling entities to check the quality of the roads reconditioning in Grabovo.

“Now the situation is truly oppressive: after rain the roads are in worse condition than before the asphalt was laid,” Igor Isaev concluded.
